Ain't Life Grand:
Ain't Life Grand is
Tim's 9th album of Maine humor. Recorded live onstage at the
Brooklin, Maine Sesquicentennial in July of 1999. Tim's mother was
born and raised in Brooklin and his roots around that part of the
state run pretty deep. This hilarious collection of late, late,
late, Twentieth Century Maine Humor includes "The True Story of the
American Flag Car" which has been referred to as a "Down East
Alice's Restaurant" and the definitive version of the classic tale
"Set 'er Ag'in".

Summer of
'81:
I met Marchall in 1976. He was truly
one of my heroes and a great mentor in my budding career as a
storyteller. When he offered me a chance to share the stage
with him in the summer of 1981, I leapt at it. Little did we
know that it would turn out to be the last summer of his
life. Marshall was killed in a traffic accident in Hawaii a
few weeks after our last performace. Looking back on it now,
my association with Marshall was painfully short (a few weeks
really), however, they were great weeks filled with laughter and
fun. Memories and this recording are all that remain of a
truly wonderful time in my life... the summer of '81.
